Can I use it as a Wordle solver?

Yes. Set length to 5, type known letters into the pattern using underscores for unknown positions, and add letters you know are in the word to the contains field.

A word finder (or word solver) takes a jumble of letters and returns every legal word you can spell with them. It is the fastest way to beat a stuck turn in Scrabble or Words with Friends, unscramble an anagram, or narrow down today's Wordle. This tool searches a built-in ENABLE dictionary of more than 168,000 English words right in your browser — no server round-trip, no sign-up — and sorts results by Scrabble point value so the highest-scoring plays float to the top.

How to use each filter

Your letters (rack): the tiles you hold. Add ? for a blank that can become any letter. Results are limited to words you can actually build.
Must contain: require specific letters to appear anywhere in the word — great after a Wordle guess turns a letter yellow.
Starts with / Ends with: lock the prefix or suffix, e.g. words ending in -ing.
Exact length: restrict to a word length from 2 to 15.
Pattern: a positional template using _ for unknown letters. Perfect for Wordle and crosswords — c_a_t finds chant, clapt and more.

Using it as a Wordle solver

Set Exact length to 5. As you learn the puzzle, type the green letters into the Pattern box in their correct positions (underscores elsewhere) and drop the yellow letters into Must contain. The remaining list is your candidate set, ranked so common starting words surface quickly.
